Forward
I feel privileged and honoured to be able to write few words in this
10th anniversary commemorative publication of "A Decade of Goodwill
1992-2002". During the last 10 years, the contributions made by Ming-Ai
Association as a bridge between UK and China in educational,
cultural, social and economic exchanges, have been recognised by the
peoples of the countries. I like to take this opportunity to salute all
my colleagues for their hard work, in particular Dr Therese Shak, her
sense of determination and conviction has made Ming-Ai what it is today.
The booklet contains a brief history of Ming-Ai Association, the
mission statement and reports on its work as bridge between UK and
China, also our education service to the local community as well as
plans for future development.
Finally, I am sure that my colleagues and I, blessed with the same
sense of mission, spirit and resolution as in the past, have the
ability and confidence to continue with our work in the years to come.
