Associate college of Middlesex University
This development in 1995 was designed to enhance the resources and
expertise of both institutions. Middlesex University is keen to develop
China-related programmes. Ming-Ai with its connections and knowledge of
China has been able to facilitate appropriate contacts.
A memorandum of Association between Ming-Ai (London) Institute and Middlesex University was first signed in May 1995 and a second one in March 2001.
Traditional Chinese Medicine in Middlesex University
The Institute was instrumental in securing the co-operation of Beijing
University of Chinese Medicine and Pharmacology and Middlesex
University in offering a mandatory 5-year BSs (Hons) Degree programme
in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). This commenced in 1997 and
Ming-Ai is responsible for providing Mandarin training in the programme.

Links with UK Institutions
Many links have been established with UK Institutions
of Higher Education. We have helped to recruit teachers for China from
their graduates, inviting their Professors to run courses in China and
aids them in recruiting overseas students from Mainland China, Hong
Kong and Taiwan.

Links with Local Chinese Communities
We have established links and collaborations with UK local Chinese
communities in different aspects, for example, providing premises or
resources for joint activities with other Chinese charitable
organisations, and attending social and educational functions.
